Background and Challenges

The Jily Hotel team is committed to providing a distinctive and engaging entry experience for guests. Previously, the lobby did not meet the high standards set by the hotel. The objective was to enhance the guest experience through the use of digital signage, providing vibrant, easily updated visuals and menus to capture guests' attention, reduce operational costs, and deliver messages beyond business hours. Jily Hotel selected Jarltech as its primary technology partner to develop an innovative, modern, and personalized experience for its guests.

While technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, the pace of change in living experiences has not kept pace. Jily Hotel set out to create a pioneering living model that puts innovation at the forefront and puts the traveler at the center. In collaboration with Jarltech, Jily Hotel sought to revolutionize the living experience by gathering real-time feedback from guests as they interacted with new innovations. They developed a proof of concept at New Taipei's modern meeting space, featuring a living model kitchen equipped with the premium BBS CMS Solution digital signage.

Solution

Jily implemented the BBS CMS Solution to streamline the deployment and management of digital information, enabling the hotel to prioritize customer satisfaction and keep guests informed about events and services. Nine 23.8" screens have been strategically placed in the hotel's meeting rooms to ensure that business guests are kept up to date.

The screens display the conference room assignments and pertinent company information for each meeting. Furthermore, 42-inch screens in the hotel lobby display details such as souvenirs, restaurant events, bar specials, and local attractions. The screens are strategically placed to optimise the guest experience across the entire hotel.

Results

The 30-year-old property has been completely transformed into a welcoming, adaptable, and modern space, offering a fresh new look and feel. The new screens have been well-received by guests, and the digital information network has enhanced the hotel's image. From the moment guests enter the lobby at Jily in New Taipei City, they are immediately aware of a notable difference. Jily provides a customized experience that sets it apart in the hospitality industry. Following the success of the digital signage, the hotel has set itself the goal of becoming the benchmark for future hotel design.
